Now it was the turn of the Saducees,

So the conjured up a nefarious plot,
To use the scripture to tie Him in knots.

In the event that a wife is widowed,
A bachelor brother should take her as wife.
We propose this story that may cause you strife:
A brother (one of seven) was left as a widow,
And she was married by his brother and five other fellows.
Each brother passed, then passed her on.
To whom will she be married when the kingdom comes?
Here is your problem, quite easy to outline,
You're using mortal reasoning, leaving scripture behind.
In Heaven the days of marrying are over.
You'll be completed by God forever and ever.
It's easy to see what you're trying to do.
You don't believe in resurrection, isn't this true?
When God speaks of the Patriarchs, He says "I am" their God.
He doesn't say, "I was," although He could.
That's because they are living, even though they've long passed.
Your being is immortal in a future yet cast.
